  • A $500 deposit holds your spot and counts toward tuition.

  • Payment plans are available

  • Full refund minus the $500 deposit until 14 days before the first weekend. After that, tuition transfers to a future Alt+DT course.

Course Tuition: $3000

This course satisfies the Principles of Drama Therapy core requirement (3 credits) on the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA) alternative training route to the Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) credential.

Is there a grade or certificate?
Yes. A 'B' or higher is required for Alt Training credit and all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

The North American Drama Therapy Association's (NADTA) non-degree path to the Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) credential. Designed for working clinicians who hold a master's degree in a related field and want to pursue the RDT without returning to school full-time. You complete required coursework (24 credits of drama therapy and 12 of psychology) plus supervised hours, rather than earning a dedicated drama therapy master's degree. Alt+DT covers the drama therapy coursework component.

No. While this training is experiential, you do not need acting experience or a background in the creative arts to participate. No clinical background is necessary, nor is a desire to become a creative arts therapist. If you're curious about drama therapy, that's enough.

Yes, a weekend drop-in option is available space permitting.

A single weekend is designed to feel complete on its own, though it does not count toward any North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA) course requirements.

A $300 deposit will save your spot for a weekend. The cost for each weekend (15.5 hours) is $1,100.
